He said that Khudaferin bridges are monuments that are worthy to be on the World Heritage List of UNESCO: “We have already started the process of preparing a nomination file in this regard. First of all, Khudaferin bridges should be included in the preliminary list of UNESCO. After that, we will try to include bridges in the World Heritage List together with the Islamic Republic of Iran, as the bridges are located in the border area. This is one of the most important issues for us. Khudaferin bridges are considered to be the pearls of Azerbaijani architecture.”
